Nürnberg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around Nürnberg is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

This is a beautiful Catholic Church. Loved to go to there to Mass on Sunday. Catholicism created all the beauty that believe in Jesus Christ can spawn. The most beautiful architecture, art, and of course charity all comes from the Catholic Faith. Go and sin no more is all Jesus asks us. The Holy Mass helps us to love Him fully. Do as He tells you and the world becomes a more beautiful and loving place. Too bad they have a Star Of Remphan (related to Moloch) hanging in it as the church replaced a synagogue. Of course Jesus Christ replaced the synagogue where they deny He is God Almighty and instead celebrate His murder. The murder of God’s only Son, Truth, Justice, Love, Life, Prince Of Peace: Jesus Christ. No one comes to the Father except through Him. No one can say they have God if they deny Jesus. Acts 7:43 43 Yea, ye took up the tabernacle of Moloch, and the star of your god Remphan, figures which ye made to worship them: and I will carry you away beyond Babylon.

A very beautiful and important place in the center of Nuremberg. Frauenkirche and Hauptmarkt together create one of the most recognizable and atmospheric parts of the old town. It is a place where history, architecture, city life, and tradition meet in a very natural way. What I especially liked is the feeling of the square. The church stands directly on Hauptmarkt, surrounded by people, market life, historical buildings, and the movement of the city. It feels both historical and alive at the same time. The church itself is very impressive from the outside, especially because of its Gothic architecture and details on the facade. If you look closely, there are many small elements that are easy to miss during a quick visit. The clock and decorative details make the building even more interesting. I would also like to mention that I found this place with the help of the Penguindor app — the “penguin” that helps you discover interesting places nearby. Thanks to it, I discovered this not only as a central square, but as a place with real historical and cultural meaning. Overall, Frauenkirche and Hauptmarkt are among the most important places to visit in Nuremberg. It is a perfect ce

Very cool church. Love the clock show that happens at 12pm. Its nothing crazy but still very sweet and nice to see. The inside is also pretty grand, but the outside is much better.

The cathedral looks impressive, it's special, it has medieval coats of arms everywhere inside, it's something special, lots of special bas-reliefs, extraordinary stained glass windows.

The church is beautiful in Gothic architecture at this market square. Lovely area and atmosphere around and not too crowded on a Sunday.

Never really bothered to learn the architectural term "lancet window" / "lancet arch" until witnessing the majestic vaulted arched windows in this parish church. The western facade has the Männleinlaufen, a mechanical clock that chimes daily at noon time with the “Presentation of Shields” by the prince electors to the Holy Roman Emperor thus commemorating the Golden Bull of 1356. Completed in 1362, this Gothic church was built on the orders of HRE Charles IV upon ruins of a synagogue that was destroyed after the Black Death.

Frauenkirche is a stunning example of Gothic architecture right in the heart of Nürnberg’s market square. The church is beautiful both inside and out, and its location during market season makes it even more magical. The stained glass, vaulted ceilings, and peaceful interior make it well worth a visit. A powerful blend of history, beauty, and reverence—don’t miss it!
