About Sam Kullman's Diner Regensburg
Located at Friedenstraße 10, 93053 Regensburg-Galgenberg, Sam Kullman's Diner Regensburg operates as a restaurant serving Regensburg in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 11 am–11 pm. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Sam Kullman's Diner Regensburg on 0941 6309833; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp. More information is available on its website, kullmans.de.
With 4.2 out of 5 on Google from 3,559 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for restaurants in Regensburg. German customers tend to review sparingly and critically, so a mid-range score with detailed comments is often a fair picture.
Regensburg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around Regensburg is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Friendly service had a lot of patience and was in a very good mood. For food there were a lot of options, also for vegetarians. The portion sizes were great. The whole atmosphere was inviting and relaxing. We had a lot of luggage with us and they let it have a spot on the bench since it wasn’t very busy. So overall a great spot👍🏼👍🏼

For all the food we payed 80€ which is alright. The burger was not what we expected for it to be an “American burger” it had no flavour. The chicken tenders also did not taste good, they tasted like old cooking oil or I found it to taste like tar from the street. The pulled pork mac and cheese were not what we expected they had little to no cheese just pulled pork so it was just noodles with BBQ sauce. The pulled pork fries were pretty good. The Resteraunt itself was really nice looking and the booths made it feel like in the 70s to 90s.

We were in town for a special occasion, the recent graduation of one of our nephew. The nephew and a group of friends decided they wanted to eat at Kullman's in downtown Regensburg. There was a reservation made for 2pm for a party of 16, but only 13 people showed. Being from the USA, I have never been in Kullman's and was very interested to see and experience the dining service, food and atmosphere. We arrived about 1:50 pm, and there was no parking in the rear of the restaurant. So, we dropped off our group and went to find a parking spot, which was down the street and left (towards the railway tracks), where we found parking. Once inside the restaurant, the decor was amazing and took a person back to 1950s-1960s USA diner. Very colorful and nostalgic. There is also outside seating too, if the weather is cooperating. We were greeted by our server, Oliver, who spoke fluent German and English. Oliver also brought us some Menus in English. He took our drink orders, and appetizer orders. After a few minutes he returned with our drinks, and took our dining orders. This was about 2:30'ish. Then we waited, and waited, and waited. About, 3:45pm we started to get restless. We had

Went on a Monday evening and the place was not empty, a few tables were occupied. Rich varianty of food, including (very limited) vegan options. The food was quite okay but unfortunately, during our stay not one waiter came to us to ask us if we wanted anything else, dessert or even refill of our drinks. So that was quite a disappointment, sitting there for half an hour without drink and no one to walking up to you. Maybe the rule is to ask for the waiter or go the the bar, I do not know.. Also some of the staff looked tired that could maybe be the issue…. Had big expectations, which were unfortunately unmet…

Update review (23 April 2024:) ------------------------------- Downgraded to 1 star! Service and food quality are deteriorating! I ordered a delivery from them through Liferanto; the order took more than 1 hour to arrive! And it arrived cold! The fries were not only cold, but also tasted old and bad and some were burned! The burger tasted less than average! So, it was not only about the delivery time, but also about hhe quality of the food! It wasn't the first time by the way that I encounter a problem with the quality of the food; I ordered once curly fries (dine in), it was also cold and tasted bad and old! The packaging was the worst! The fries were not served in a box, but just thrown into a bag, which was not stamped; the burger box not sealed and some of the food was out of the box! I took a take away from them before, and the packaging was very neat, properly served and sealed and in order! It seems that their service is deteriorating! Initial review: -------------- (It was a 5 stars review) I really enjoyed my time there! The waitresses were also very friendly. I ordered the clubhouse sandwich, with curly fries and a beer: really tasty! The surrounding is also nice: a dine
