ONTRA - Tech Square Gastro GmbH

The food was truly excellent, from the starters to the main course. The steak was cooked exactly as it should be perfect in every way. However, the service was noticeably slow. It took quite a while for the menu to be brought to us, and there was also a significant delay in serving the food, which made the overall experience less enjoyable. Additionally, the waitstaff seemed to rely on memorized, scripted descriptions when explaining the dishes, which felt impersonal. There were also no napkins on the tables, and the staff placed the cutlery directly onto what could be considered an unclean table surface, which was quite uncomfortable and unhygienic FOR ME. For a one Michelin star restaurant, this level of service was quite unexpected. Overall, the food quality was outstanding, but the service clearly needs improvement.

A beautiful dining experience from start to finish. The staff was warm and welcoming, and every dish exceeded our expectations—both in presentation and flavor. We were genuinely impressed. If you're visiting Regensburg, Ontra is an absolute must-try!

UPDATED one of the trickiest places in town for the taste buds. A real bargain for lovers of fine wine and food. Every time, a firework display of inventiveness - well done! Always a good experience. Very tasty, beautiful and excellent service! Really good. Everything was perfect. Fish. Lamb. Soup. Dessert.

Lovely romantic place with tasty and creative food. We have been coming back to Ontra 5 times in the past year, and the quality of food varies... depending on who's working in the kitchen. Today was the best! Compliments to the service, too!
