Mondial Am Dom Hotel Cologne - MGallery Collection

There are so many things I could highlight, but I'd like to start with your staff who made me feel welcome and cared for in every possible way. The décor of the hotel is attractive and inspiring and the room (319) was well-designed and comfortable. I ate at the restaurant on one evening and was seriously impressed by the vegan options available. The location of the hotel so close the cathedral and railway station were a major advantage!

Very nice hotel, especially the location. Cologne is a big city, but most of the things we wanted to see were within walking distance of the hotel. (Only the botanic garden and cable car was at the other end of the city, still within reasonable walking distance or very easy by bike or scooter). The hotel itself was lovely, very nice room, bathroom, shower were clean and in great shape. Bed was comfortable. Spa and gym were good, decent for a hotel. The spa is a sauna an a steambath, no pool or hot tub. (It's a nice addition, but not a dealmaker/dealbreaker). The gym is good, equipment in good quality. There are not many weight options (only 10kg and 20kg plates, no 5kg or 2.5kg). Minor detail, it did not look like you could connect an hdmi cable to the tv (fixed to the wall and the ports were at the back). Again not a dealbreaker but it's often nicer to watch a show/movie on the tv instead of your computer/tablet. Overall very happy with this hotel, not the cheapest but high quality and great location.
