I am touristing the city and went on my own for a dinner in a Saturday night, a lovely atmosphere was seen beside of being very busy. Food was just great, so delicious, warm and fresh. Steak was tender and in the right temperature. I’m glad for have crossed the restaurant in my staying in Cologne.

I really liked this place. The staff were very friendly, the food was great and the traditional atmosphere was exactly what I had been looking for - but never found - whenever I visited Germany. The copper bar is a sight to behold and while the decor is old fashioned, it's clear that the image of this place is well cared for. As a bonus, side dishes are included on top of the already generous portions. 🥹

I visited this place to try out their Schnitzel and it did not disappoint! The house special Schnitzel, served with a creamy sauce, was absolutely delicious. It came with crispy fries and a nicely dressed salad. The Kölsch beer was great too. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff were friendly. Worth visiting if you're in Cologne.

Dont walk to this place, RUN!. Omg this was amazing German food. The food was excellent, everything is so typical and authentic. The service was great, the lady who served us was really nice and helpful. The owner might seem a bit harsh but he is actually really sweet and funny. We didn’t have dessert because we were so full but I am sure they must be great. I had the spaetzle and they were so delicious that I want to swim in it. The atmosphere was great, the decoration is very German, the light could be a bit softer, it was very bright but that just my personal preference. Also don’t forget to finish your meal with a schnapps.

Lovely old German restaurant, with a separate bar area. I managed to be seated, but looks like many people made reservations. Got busier quite quickly. Good for families and dog owners. Service was quick, staff friendly and cost reasonable. They don't have a large menu, which is good, as it means the focus is on quality. The dessert was particularly delicious, other dishes in a traditional deutsche style.
