A restaurant with great outdoor seating and views of the Rhine river. Service is attentive, funny and helpful. They speak English if you can't speak German fluently. The size of the portions are huge! We made that mistake when ordering. The appetizer was a meal for 4 on its own. We only had room for 1 bite from our main course. Luckily they have doggy bags to bring food home. As you can tell the pigs knuckle is delicious, we had the veal schnitzel, it is different in texture than the pork versions you usually get. All the dishes were excellent with beer. Highly recommended to reserve a seat. With sunny weather the outdoor seating can fill up with people quite easily. Great place to people watch. And if you go with the family, the kids get colouring books. Very family friendly.

My friends and I went for dinner here two nights in a row during our stay, and that says everything about how much we enjoyed it. Great atmosphere, delicious food, and absolutely 5++++ star service. A huge shoutout to Ben, who looked after us both evenings, and also to Janis, who served us on the second night. Both were incredibly friendly, professional, attentive, and polite, and really made our experience special. We enjoyed it so much that we even recommended the restaurant to other people we met around the city. Highly recommend.

Great place for a pretzel and pint. It was a little damp outside so thought we’d try some German snacks. We ordered two glasses of Kolsch, a pretzel and sausage. The beer was cold, and the food was warm. Although I would have preferred yellow mustard, the spicy mustard they served us was ok. I was impressed how tender the sausage was. Same for the pretzel. I’m used to the tough one from the mall. Sitting inside, we got great service but it seemed like those outside had no worries. I would definitely recommend Delfter Haus.

Great experience! The location along the Rhine with great views, the authentic German food, the atmosphere, and the bathrooms were amazing! Our server, Ben, was so friendly, professional, and helpful! We highly recommend, and we loved this place!

Excellent visit for lunch. Warm welcome from the staff. Shown to our table in the vault. Food was excellent, albeit, the pork knuckle was so big, I could not finish it! Service was also very good. Would highly recommend.
