For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 10 am–9 pm. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. You can reach Eiscafé Via Veneto on 0176 62297497; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp.

Customers rate it 4.8 out of 5 on Google across 234 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded bäckereien & konditoreien in München.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

Very tasty ice cream

We ordered 4 different flavours and none of them tasted like much really. The pistachio ice cream had some green food colouring in it. We paid €3,6 for 2 scoops.

So many unique and yum flavors to choose from!! Has various vegan options ranging from the ice cream to even the spoon and one can also pay with card. We had a very nice experience!

Very nice ice cream bar and tasty ice creams. I live in the same neighborhood and often pop in to get a cup of coffee.

This recently opened Eiscafé is a real gem, offering delicious all-natural home-made ice cream and great coffee! From classics like Chocolate and Stracciatella moving on to Mango, Passion fruit, Coconut and Pistachio, the assortment is made on site daily, so do not expect an endless number of flavours but a delightful selection instead. The ice cream is simply that: ice cream, using simple all-natural ingredients, so no artificial flavours or colours, and absolutely nothing turquoise looking! Try Figs & Mascarpone for perfectly balanced flavours in a smooth and creamy ice or Salt Caramel for something sweeter yet delicate. This is a family run Ice Cream Cafe and one can taste the difference. Very friendly people, offering a great product, what more could one ask for? Definitely worth a visit.
