About Die Backprinzen
Bäckerei, Konditorei, Café, Kuchen, Torten; Snacks warm und kalt, Getränke warm und kalt
Located at Heideckstraße 4, 80637 München-Neuhausen-Nymphenburg, Die Backprinzen operates as a bäckereien serving München in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 6 am–6 pm. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is 089 12196808. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. More information is available on its website, die-backprinzen.de.
Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 200 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded bäckereien & konditoreien in München.
München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

In relation to the supermarkt and bakery/Butcher up the road, this where to get the best baked goods in a 3-4 block (neighbourhood) radius. There is also a Neulinger bakery, which most say is the best, at a different price point which bakes very traditionally & devotionally. This bakery is liked by regular locals looking for convenience, good product and competent staff. I appreciate that it's not a big chain as well, I see the owner every now and then but rarely without a smile on his face. Many thanks.

Strangely nervous lady here murmuring after serving you if she doesnt like smt about you (like ordering coffee in and cause a dirty cup instead of to go cup) 😬 if you can endure the stress test whether you do something wrong while having your coffee, outside tables is good to sit in sunny days at noon. Coffee and pastry is below average👎

Tasty pastry and sandwiches, nice staff, but the coffee tastes bad

Prefect breakfast and coffee stop if you are staying at a hotel near by. Quick and reasonably priced.

Once got a Krapfen that was still frozen inside. Expected them to be fresh. Otherwise totally OK.
