About Bäckerei Europa

Bäckerei nach Balkanart

Located at Pilgersheimer Str. 50, 81543 München, Bäckerei Europa operates as a bäckereien serving München in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.

Opening hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 6 am–9:30 pm. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 089 13959112. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 398 reviews, which is a strong result for a bäckereien in München and suggests consistent service.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

The most underrated bakery in Munich. The quality is always fresh and the taste so good. Everything handmade and open on Sundays.

Finally found my place in Munich for the best Burek and ofc. Croatian Dukat Jogurt. Don’t miss the Trilece cake - it’s worth a cheat day 😉 in your diet.

The baked goods such as bread, Apfeltaschen, and croissants are OK, although a little dry sometimes. However, I don't recommend the cakes. I was very excited about trying the Cheesecake Kuchen because it looked like an American-style cheesecake (nothing against German Käsekuchen, I was just in the mood for the American version), but it wasn't good in taste nor texture. The jam on top tasted a bit artificial and the filling was lumpy with a strange flavor. Definitely will not try them again.

Everything seems fresh but taste needs to be improved. Krapfen was dry and big but had less filling for its size. Prices are nominal. Hope it gets better.
