We went there, with hopes to find something good for breakfast. We enterdd the place, and started reading menu posted on the wall. It took us a minute, maybe two because menu was in german, and german is not my native language. Suddenly a lady, about 60+, maybe a manager, asked us why it takes us so long. Really? After I said that I just need time, or a menu in english, she raised her voice and told us that we should not stay there, and gave us the menus, in german. She told something rude, but we decided to leave and did not start conversation. Very bad and unproffesional behavior. I later read thebreviews and it was apparently not the first time.

We went here two times out of our 5 day stay in munich first time was exceptional service and second time was ok - they charged $1.25 for a tiny slab of butter the second time yet it came free the first day and I ate the same thing. So the service was a bit inconsistent but I rated 5 still because everything was amazing to eat and great quality food too.

What a nice place for brunch, came here as other restaurants were full on a Saturday morning. We ordered pancakes and had a coffee both were delicious!

Such a bright and colorful menu. With delicious options for a hearty breakfast. Generous plates of yummy goodness. This is the place to go for breakfast or brunch on a lazy day. The most hospitable waitresses regardless of the language barrier which we managed to bypass using the most common language of signs. Will surely be back on my next trip💕💕

Solid tea selection, a few vegan options on the menu, and a bustling overburdened team during the rush hour of Sunday’s brunch. Nevertheless, the kitchen crew is delightful, proficient, and attentive if you can afford long waiting time. The coffee is average as in other Backspielhaus locations. For better croissants rather go to the bakery across the street. If you waited more than one hour to order every little thing, expect waiting for ages for your invoice. Entrance not adapted for wheels, lavatories available in the basement.
