Leonardo Hotel Nürnberg

A proper full-service hotel with a staffed reception. Check-in and check-out were simple and straightforward, without the self-service gimmicks that many hotels increasingly do to save on labour. There is paid underground parking directly beneath the hotel. It uses the same entrance as the general parking garage, but the hotel has its own separate private parking area, which was very convenient. Breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice, and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful. The location is absolutely ideal. The hotel is right by Nürnberg station and only a very short walk from the historic centre, making it extremely convenient for exploring the city. Overall, a very comfortable and well-run hotel in an excellent location, with good facilities and great staff.

the location is okay but the neighbourhood is quite unpleasant. the room seemed to be clean at first but the longer you look at it, the more noticeable the mess becomes. there was mold in the bathroom, especially in the sink and the shower head that we had to clean ourselves to make it a bit better. the shower door couldn't be properly closed so upon usage the floor becomes wet and slippery. the bedroom part is alright. the bed sheets were clean. however, the pillows were uncomfortable to sleep on, they're not filled in properly so the head sinks in. it wouldn't be my first hotel of choice to stay in again but if you're on a somewhat tight budget, a one-time stay wouldn't hurt.

At first comments here scared me. But room, location were actually decent. You get more than you pay for. Staff are amazing and helpful in every way. Location is 15 min walking distance to the old town, direct connection to the airport, close to supermarkets. They do have air conditioning. The coffee machine in the room could need renewal. It didn’t work so well and it was dusty.
