Nürnberg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in Nürnberg, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

I have stayed at this hotel several times over the past 15 years, and I have always left good reviews because I felt it deserved them. Unfortunately, this year I noticed that the hotel is declining and that it needs investment, as well as better attention to the cleanliness and ventilation of the rooms. The smell in the room was very strong, with a heavy smell of cigarettes and a musty, dirty carpet. It’s a real shame, as I always enjoyed coming back here. I hope that the management will take action soon.

Excellent hotel with clean, spacious and comfortable rooms. The staff was friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices, and the free parking was a big advantage. Great location with easy access to the city center by metro. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back!

We stayed here for two nights and were really satisfied. The rooms were spotlessly clean and tidy. The location is quite okay, it takes about 10 minutes to get to the city center. A big plus is that the hotel has its own parking, so we didn't have to worry about the car. Breakfast was decent and quite sufficient to start the day. Considering the really affordable price, this is a great choice for a stay in Nuremberg.
