This hotel is right outside the old city wall, a short walk from the main train station and close to many attractions. The room is comfortable with coffee and tea, a fridge, safe, soap and conditioner. The bed is firm and very comfortable. The lifts are very annoying as you can’t request up or down, you just get the next lift no matter which direction it is going. Gym is great. Roof views fantastic though one side is closed. Staff are friendly and the restaurant on the ground floor ’Public’ is good. A lovely hotel.

We are only three nights into a 7 night stay at the Scandic Nürnberg, but i wanted to leave a positive review before I forget. We love it here! Our room (a family room with bunk bed) is super spacious and comfortable. Everything is new and modern and very clean. The hotel staff is excellent and the hotel has great amenities (like free popcorn in the lobby). Our favorite part is the delicious breakfast. It's open every day until 11am (which is out of the norm, we've been to so many hotel buffets that close much earlier). We love this since we are jetlagged and have a young baby and just can't get ourselves to wake up early. The breakfast is amazing: lots of organic, vegan, and gluten free options, tons of variety. We definitely overstay every morning and no one rushes us, they just let us know the buffet will be closing but we can sit as long as we want. Very kind. The staff is very friendly and helpful throughout the hotel and we feel welcomed. The only downside to the hotel is the elevators. There is often a significant wait time because the two elevators are not connected, so people waiting for an elevator just push both buttons, causing both elevators to go to the same floor

Nice Hotel Close to Train Station Modern, comfortable, reasonably priced. Excellent buffet breakfast. Rooms are very nice but, oddly, without any amenities other than towels, liquid soap, and toilet paper. Hotel is clean and the staff is excellent. Lobby is tiny and gets crowded because of very slow elevators. I suppose the sketchy neighborhood is due to the close proximity to the train station. Lots of trash, some local businesses seem to be permanently shuttered. Easy walk to Old Town and Castle. Overall, a nice place to stay especially if you are traveling in Germany using the rail system. I would definitely stay here again, if not just for the breakfast.
