We had a wonderful experience with “the art of taste” and the non-alcoholic drink pairing. The experience lasted ~5 hours in total, with delightful dishes and excellent service. The day prior to the reservation, the staff called to confirm allergies and menu options. The evening started in the upstairs dining room and finished with drinks and a sweet end in the ground-floor bar. The food was quite an adventure and overall delicious, though I found some flavour combinations challenging. I’ll share some of my favourites as well as least favourite: 1. Fatty tuna: This tuna was smoother and meltier than even ootoro in high end sushi. The staff explained that the tuna was farmed in Spanish open waters, fed with fish only, to control the fat content. 2. Ox and Klee: their signature course included a raw beef dish that resembled a beef bourguignon. I loved the sauce in particular, which was deep and savoury with small cubes of cooked fatty beef (or maybe it was cubes of bone marrow, I’m not entirely sure) 3. A two star restaurant in Cologne. Only set menus (meat and vegetarian) available. Waiters a bit pushy about the upgrades. Taste of the food varies from course to course: Some have surprisingly little flavor for the price range and some are really great. Wine pairing quite pricey for the quality offered. All in all a bit too expensive for what you get. And they serve Nespresso coffee.

5 Hours of Excellence – The Art of Taste A beautifully designed concept where guests not only enjoy the food, but also learn how the chef balances flavors through carefully chosen ingredients and innovative techniques. Each dish is a true masterpiece. Service is impeccable, and the chef visiting the table to share the story behind the dish proves that 2-Michelin-star dining doesn’t need to feel pretentious. A highlight is the tribute to the city: the “Halve Hahn” course, leaving you with the taste of a Kölsch Brauhaus presented in a way you’ve never experienced before. The vegetarian menu is equally outstanding, and even those driving can enjoy a non-alcoholic pairing that complements each dish like an integral ingredient — perfectly in line with the philosophy of the Art of Taste. Add to that a beautiful setting, and this was the easiest 5 stars I’ve ever given.

Amazing experience. We had a 6-course dinner, and everything was orchestrated perfectly. The dishes are something out of the ordinary, flavors we have never had in our lives and prepared with mastery. The service is impeccable and what we really like about this restaurant is the more relaxed atmosphere, without anything too fancy or that you don't feel comfortable in, you can really go dressed however you want and feel at home. The wine list is incredible, and they have an orange wine from Georgia that is simply perfect.
