Highly recommended! I started at ASL 7 months ago as an A1 student. Thanks to Heidrun and Elizabeth, who created a personalized and streamlined plan, I have already achieved all my language goals. Unlike other schools, ASL is truly invested in student growth. Beyond excellent language lessons from highly qualified teachers, they teach you about German culture, which is vital for long-term integration. They offer a warm environment and connect you to social life in Munich. If you want to make learning German achievable, structured, and fun, join ASL!

I had the best experience here and I went from being barely able to say a full sentence to having conversations about various topics. The teachers are sincere and supremely patient and above all very understanding ( I had Sabine as my teacher, and she's hand down the most sincere teacher I have met in my life ) . Unlike most other schools. The teachers don't keep changing every month . So there is a continuity and the teacher is able to understand your strength and weakness and work with you . You'll be given homework every day which further pushes you to be more involved in the language outside of the class room.I Don't want to talk bad about the other schools, but everyone who has joined here has stuck with the school till the very end . None of my classmates had any issues. They offer integration courses till B1 and as well as B2 and C1 with exam preparation. The school is situated right next to the ubahn station so travel is made easier as well.

I can only recommend this school, I did 4 courses up to C1 level and passed the exam for preparatory course (Prüfung für Studienkolleg). I had already a basic level of German so I made an appointment and they made me a level test. The teaching was very good, very professional, well prepared. One of the things that made my experience even more satisfying was the excellent location near the University. The secretaries are friendly and helpful. I had good teachers and learned a lot, of course you need to put your effort since German is not an easy language. In my personal experience Elizabeth was a great teacher! In resume a very good school for those who need to learn German quick and efficiently and integrate into the academic or the professional life right away.

I had a great time at ASL and made great friends! 5-stars go to Sabine who was the BEST teacher there - I had 4 teachers in 10 weeks because I changed levels and then one was sick and we had 2 replacements for the other teacher, and Sabine was the best by far. She taught me so much and was so enthusiastic for learning! If you can be in Sabine's class, definitely go to ASL! Otherwise, the teachers are hit or miss. I had 2 good ones and 2 bad ones. Overall the secretaries addressed my needs and were helpful in getting me into the right level after they forgot to give me the placement test and put me in the wrong level, although one was very rude to me on multiple different occasions when I could only speak low-mid level German and was just trying to ask questions regarding the test. The whole place is not that well run, but it seems that the director and teachers really do care and are friendly. I would return, and I would recommend this place for the really cool area/street nearby! Lots of cool stuff to do nearby, right by the U-bahn, and by the Englischer Garten! Just make sure you take the placement test, and SPEAK UP if you have an issue with the teacher. You can switch classes i
