Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

Small and cozy place with a nice vibe. There was only one cook and one waitress when we where there, so we had to wait a lot. But they were very friendly.

This is a little neighborhood local where the food is clearly made with some love. I could hear them pounding my schnitzel flat in the kitchen, and it tasted damn good when it came out. The Kaiserschmarm was also excellent. I will be coming back.
