München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

In my opinion, this place is basically the definition of a tourist trap. The location is obviously fantastic: you’re right by the Glockenspiel in the middle of Marienplatz. But you’re paying a massive premium for that location. The food itself was fine, but nothing memorable and nowhere near good enough to justify the prices. I had better food at a street fair in Frankfurt. Munich has way too much good food to settle for this just because it’s in a convenient spot. What really got me was charging paying customers to use the bathroom. That’s ridiculous. The water was also some of the most expensive I had anywhere in Germany, especially considering it was only a .25L bottle. Great location, mediocre food, brutal prices. There are much better places to spend your money in Munich.

So delicious sausages.. i will not forget the taste. Atmosphere is really cozy especially during winter when its decorated for Christmas also. Fries were really good. Staff are kind. Prices reasonable. In front of historic center. Recommended to visit. Suitable for all group sizes.

Visited Wildmosers at Marienplatz during our time in Munich and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. It’s a fantastic spot to try some classic Bavarian dishes in a lively and traditional setting. We ordered the pork knuckle and the Münchner Wurstplatte, which came with three different sausages, coleslaw, potato salad, and sauerkraut. The pork knuckle was well-cooked with tender, flavourful meat and a satisfying crispy exterior. The accompanying sauce complemented it beautifully. The sausage platter was equally enjoyable, offering a nice variety of flavours and textures. The sides paired well with the meats, especially the potato salad and sauerkraut, which added a refreshing balance to the richness of the dishes. Overall, the food was hearty, authentic, and very tasty. Combined with the central location and welcoming atmosphere, it’s a great choice for anyone looking to experience traditional Bavarian food in Munich. 🍺🥨🍖

This is the restaurant facing the Rathaus-Glockenspiel at Marienplatz Square. Atmosphere was amazing. We sat facing the City Hall. Baskers providing live music. Food was delicious - we ordered the currywurst and pork knuckle. Pork knuckle was moist and juicy and very tasty. Topped it up with the best apple strudel. We were served by Gabriel - he was very attentive, friendly and gave very good recommendations.

The first delicious meal in Germany was amazing! The warm environment and Essa's thoughtful service really healed us. We felt so happy. The next day, we came together to celebrate Nathan's birthday. All the guests in the place sang the birthday song for us. It was so cool to celebrate a birthday abroad for the first time. The atmosphere here is super friendly.
