About Wöllinger Wirtshaus
Located at Johann-Clanze-Straße 112, 81369 München, Wöllinger Wirtshaus operates as a deutsche serving München in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as bar, biergarten, café, so it may cover more than the name suggests.
Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 11 am–11 pm. It is closed on Monday. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is 089 66500644. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.4 out of 5 from 1,673 reviews, which is a strong result for a deutsche in München and suggests consistent service.
München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

This is a very traditional place. Food is great and people are so nice. I really like going there often and my kids also love going there. Can only recommend!

Our favourite local restaurant! Since the management (and possibly chef) change, the menu improved noticeably! The service respectively speed depends a bit on the waiter, but the vibe and food is always great!

Service is really good, fast and very friendly. The Muncher Schnitzel was very good, bratkartofel a little soggy. Currywurst and Wiener Schnitzel also good as well as the schweinerbratten looked tasty with roasted crackling. Topped of with a pretty good dessert this place is neither cheap nor expensive bit I would recommend it.
