Located at Herzogspitalstraße 8, 80331 München, Weinhaus Neuner operates as a deutsche serving München in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as österreichisches restaurant, deutsches restaurant, weinstube, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.

Opening hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 12 pm–12 am. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 089 2603954. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. More information is available on its website, weinhaus-neuner.de.

Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 977 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded deutsche & regionale küche in München.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Exceptional food. We had the salad (theatre) and I had soup. The broth was amazing, the bread so good we went to the bakery the next morning to buy the same. Truly outstanding German food, I will recommend and be back. After 14 years in Germany, most restaurants don’t really impress me. This was fantastic!

This is a great spot for a great bottle of wine and a cool, super authentic German Winehouse environment. We had a bottle of first German Pinot noir, which was absolutely amazing ( Furst). I was delighted to have a German wine that was very smooth and high-quality after two weeks in Germany in Austria (not having great local wines). Highly recommend this place. The restaurant manager is highly knowledgeable and very kind.

A truly excellent restaurant with a wonderful atmosphere. The service is superb—exactly what one would expect from a fine dining establishment. The menu is concise, but every dish is expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. All ingredients are natural, with no artificial additives whatsoever. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who appreciates delicious, high-quality food. The interior also deserves special attention and high praise; the dining hall is spacious, yet thoughtfully partitioned to ensure that the tables feel private and secluded. The prices are very reasonable.

Admittedly a bit more high end than what we were actually looking for when we discovered this place but the food, beer and service were all excellent. Pictured are the Danube Catfish and the Viennese Veal Schnitzel with pan fried potatoes. A bit more expensive than your regular Bierhall fayre though but really excellent quality.
