The ASH München is one of the restaurants listed in München, Bayern. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as bar, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.

Opening hours are published for 2 days a week. The most common schedule is 11:30–23:00. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 089 244175141. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. Its website is the-ash.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.3 out of 5 from 839 reviews, which is a strong result for a restaurant in München and suggests consistent service.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

The quality of the steaks was excellent – tender, flavorful, and cooked very well. The atmosphere was beautiful and inviting, and the Italian wine selection was also very enjoyable. The only downside was the portion size compared to the price. The food was delicious, but with a 200–300 gram steak, you probably won’t leave feeling completely full. Overall, it was definitely worth visiting for the outstanding flavor and quality of the food. The waiter was also friendly, welcoming, and provided great service throughout the evening.

Pretty ok but consider to wait a long time for food and drinks, and even to pay, Food is ok, prices also but if u want to go get food and go back to work its critical.

Had a really nice solo dinner experience at The ASH München during my stay in Munich. The restaurant was super easy to find, and the ambiance was really good, cozy, stylish, and comfortable even for solo dining. The food I tried was very tasty and satisfying, and the drinks were great too haha. I even ordered a margarita that wasn’t actually on their menu, and they still tried to make it for me 💗🙈 It honestly just wasn’t my taste, but I really appreciated that they didn’t charge me for it after I told them honestly about it. What made the experience even better was how kind and attentive the staff were. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, which made me feel really comfortable dining alone. That level of kindness and hospitality definitely stood out to me. Would happily come back!❤️✨

We went to the ASH for a late lunch on a Sunday and ordered 2 US flat iron steaks, medium rare, and some sides. One of the steaks was cooked to perfection, while the other came medium well, despite having a little sign that said “medium rare”. We informed the waitress, and after taking one look at the steak, she immediately realized that it was not medium rare and ordered us a new one. A short while later, a new piece of steak came, and this time it was rare, bordering blue rare. We informed the waitress again, but asked that she simply convey the message to the kitchen without making another new steak since one of us had already finished the meal, all the sides were gone - it didn’t make sense to wait and start all over. Despite the challenges with the doneness, the flat iron steak itself was a great piece of meat. The sides, even the mayonnaise, were delicious. The house wines were decent, in price and taste. Most importantly, the waitress was a pro. She had a great attitude and handled the situation well. We will consider giving it another go and see if we have better luck with the steak next time.

Food was good and came out in a reasonable time. Place was busy, almost full but didn’t have the feeling that it’s. Loud and overcrowded. Service was professional however felt like the waiter didn’t want to make time to listen to the questions we had. Example asking if the chicken is boneless the answer came that it’s corn fed chicken. However he was more attentive once it got more quiet.
