Excellent experience! The wine selection is outstanding, and the waiter was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He recommended a wonderful oak-aged white wine. The food was also exceptional. The beef tartare is absolutely must have. Great dining experience with good service, excellent wines, and delicious food. Highly recommended!

Rude, unfriendly service. Waiter only spoke to one of us, in German. When ordering starters, he told us we needed to order main dishes because we were taking up a table. Cheese plate and cheese/meat plate complete ripoff. Almost no cheese or meat, mounds of cream cheese-like spread. Most of us had salmon. Decent salmon but smothered in cream sauce. Meat dish was ok. Very overpriced and overrated. Will not return.

We were 5. We had two bottles of wine, shared three dishes and had five mains. Overall I was expecting a much better experience based on the very positive reviews. The meat and cheese plates were fine, although 3 slices of salami and 3 slices of Parma ham on the large meat platter for 20+€ feels pretty stingy. The flammkuchen was nice enough. After we first ordered these to share, the waiter immediately insisted we order main dishes. Yeah it’s fine that you want us to order mains because we reserved dinner, but to immediately and somewhat rudely insist upon it is just not pleasant. The mains were ok. The salmon was fine but had a weak flavor. The lamb had a fine flavor but had a mushy texture. The meat patty was fine, also not bad but not good. The ambiance is nice: very lively but not too loud.

Met friends after work at Das Weinheim in Munich’s Schwabing neighborhood. This wine bar is owned and run by someone who left the corporate world in pursuit of his passion, which shines through with the carefully selected wines from smaller, less-known vineyards without compromising quality. The team is extremely knowledgeable about wines and will give recommendations upon request based on your preferences. What’s more, there are small plates offered to compliment the wines including homemade breadsticks, bread served with obazter (soft cheese mixed with seasoning) & a tomato-olive salsa, thick juicy olives and delightful homemade potato chips. The interior gives a warm sensation with the dark wood interior. Highly recommend visiting Das Weinheim… and when you do, be sure to reserve in advance as this neighborhood favorite is popular and fills up.

An outstanding place for Wine and food! The wine card offers a big variety with fair (not cheap but appropriate) prices for what you get. The wine card offers a variety of good wines from different regions. Food: The food menu is rather small, but every item of the menu is thought out and well made. Don't expect a big dinner here but rather the right companion for the wine. Still good for a regular dinner though. Service: We were mainly served by one of the owner and this was by far one of the best service experience I ever had. Friendly, open, helpful and really attentive. Small bonus point: When a couple entered without wearing masks, the owner was very friendly but still determined that they put on their masks. He stayed professional and nice despite the guests getting quite unfriendly. This is a must for everyone who likes wine and who might be interested in trying new wines!
