Nürnberg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around Nürnberg is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.
See the other parks, zoos & gärten in Nürnberg listed below to compare ratings, hours and locations before you decide. Details on this page come from public sources and may change; confirm anything important by phone before relying on it. Business owners can claim the listing to keep it up to date.

This park is stunning. It has benches and chairs for many people. There are numerous playgrounds for kiddos of all ages. The Neptune fountain is beautiful. You can feel safe hear even if by yourself with your child.

Relaxation and Recreation This park is a hidden gem, offering something for everyone. Its serene pond is the centerpiece, surrounded by vibrant flowers that bloom beautifully with the changing seasons. Springtime is particularly magical, with cherry blossoms creating a picturesque landscape that is perfect for a leisurely stroll or a relaxing picnic. Benches are thoughtfully placed throughout the park, providing plenty of spots to sit, unwind, and soak in the natural beauty. Families will appreciate the well-maintained kids' play area, where children can run around and enjoy themselves safely. For fitness enthusiasts, the walking track is a standout feature. It's an inviting space that encourages community, relaxation, and a connection with nature—a must-visit for locals and visitors alike.

We had a great time in this park. It's a quiet big park with lots of water bodies. We went there in May, it was beautiful. It has public washrooms and small coffee and ice cream shops. There is no entry fee.
