We were very disappointed with our experience. After being greeted at the entrance and told that we could sit anywhere, we waited for 15 minutes without anyone bringing us a menu or even acknowledging us. What made the situation even more disappointing was that a group of German-speaking customers arrived after us and were served immediately, while we continued to be ignored. The service quality definitely needs improvement. Every customer should receive the same level of attention and hospitality, regardless of the language they speak. Unfortunately, this experience left a very negative impression.

Stunning! The location, atmosphere, staff, decor, cleanliness, food were all just wonderful. It’s cosy, homey, welcoming and the strudel was to die for. Would recommend & would absolutely come back!

Nice place for summer next to English garden. But 29.99 eur for a full Schnitzel like in the picture was absolutely overpriced and felt like I was being robbed. The meat was super thin. You can definitely find better food in other places. Beer, wine and food over priced for the quantity and the quality.

We took a relaxed hour walk from the centre of old town through the English gardens to get here, but there is convenient public transport right on the doorstep. Service was excellent, very helpful to non German speaking tourists. Food and beer both outstanding. We loved the venue and felt like we were locals for our time here. Definitely worth the visit.

Location: it’s direct at the English garden next to the river, you can sit outside. Either you take U-Bahn or you park nearby at the park house or on the street. (4.5) Environment: we sit outside, it’s a lot of green, you can enjoy the sunshine and hearing the birds, plus you have the river nearby. It is beautiful. (I’m a bit unlucky that there is someone sitting next to our table and smoking all the time.) (4.5 ) Food: we are not hungry, so we ordered little food. The pork is classic, and the break is fine. (4) Service: our stuff is quick, nice and supportive. But we see the other guest wait more than 10 mins for pay. (4.5) Price: I think it’s an average price to pay at a beer garden restaurant. (4.5) Overall: 4.4 I can imagine myself go there time by time because of the location.
