This was one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve ever had. Before arriving, we asked whether an early check-in was possible. We were told it would cost an additional €40–50, despite our room costing around 65 € for one night. We decided to wait until the standard check-in time instead. When we checked in around 5:30 PM, we were given a room that had clearly not been cleaned after the previous guests. The bed was unmade, towels were left on the bathroom floor, and the room hadn’t even been aired out. It looked as though the previous guests had just walked out. We returned to reception to complain, and the receptionist admitted they didn’t know what had happened because 1 of 2 rooms they gave that day had apparently been affected by the same issue. While waiting to change the room, another guest was checking out 2 rooms (checked in 20 mins before us). We were given then as a replacement for our initial room, one of the rooms which the previous guests returned. At the time we didn’t know why, but we quickly discovered the bathroom had a strong smell of urine. The room was also prepared for single occupancy, even though we had booked for two people. Very disappointing for €260 per night. The double bed was not properly made: only one side was prepared like a single bed, while the other side was left unfinished. When we asked at reception, they said this was normal, which was quite surprising. Also, housekeeping only cleans the room if you book it in advance while you're out. For this price, I definitely did not expect to have to request basic room service.

This was honestly one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. First of all, housekeeping is apparently “on request only”, but the problem is that no one tells you. There’s no information at check-in, nothing. So you only find out on the second day, when you come back and realize your room hasn’t been cleaned at all. Pretty unacceptable for a hotel that claims a certain standard. On top of that, I paid for a double room for single use, expecting at least a properly prepared bed. Instead, only half of the double bed was made, while the other half didn’t even have sheets on it. Overall, poor communication and lack of attention to basic details. Definitely not worth the price.

Definitely not a four-star hotel. The rooms are outdated and need renovation. One of the rooms was cold even with the heating set to maximum. Breakfast was excellent, and the breakfast staff were friendly. The receptionist at check-in was very pleasant, which made a good first impression. Unfortunately, the check-out experience was disappointing. The receptionist did not smile, did not ask whether everything was okay, and came across as unprofessional. This left a poor final impression, which is why I am reducing my rating.
