Loved this hotel. Stayed there for 4 days in August. Staff were incredibly friendly and spoke English which was very helpful on so many levels- from parking to room questions, too restaurant suggestions. The free breakfast was fantastic! Finally, having air conditioning was a godsend. It was 100 degrees and most places in Germany do not have it. Overall, highly recommend!

An excellent hotel which cannot be faulted in any aspect. Our room was clean, well appointed with a comfortable bed, the dining area was wonderful - ambient traditional decor with a wide range of quality options for breakfast, and all within walking distance to both Augsburg train station and a number of key attractions. The staff in particular were a pleasure to deal with, very friendly and exceptionally helpful. They packed us a breakfast at 6am as we had an early train to catch and were most accommodating with all our other requests.

We recently spent one night at City Hotel Ost am Kö along Fuggerstraßeand found this to be a good property for overnight stays in Augsberg. Hotel is very near underground parking lot, restaurants, coffee shops and a few minutes walk to the main sightseeing area around the Old Town. Would be perfectly fine staying here again in the future. Reservation was made through booking.com the day prior to our arrival. Confirmation of booking was received immediately. Check-in was handled prompta and smoothly. Staff were incredibly friendly. There is nearby parking at the Annahof underground carpark, just 2-3 minute walk from the hotel entrance. They offer overnight parking code for discounted payment service at the front desk for those with vehicles. Lobby and ground floor restaurant are atmospheric. Our stay came with breakfast which was a very nice continental spread of muesli, bread, cheeses, meats, juices and coffee. They can make eggs and omelettes to your liking as well. Room was standard, sufficient for space and generally comfortable. Beds were nice, A/C worked well, bathroom spacious. Room includes TV, open closet for hanging clothes, fridge and hair-dryer. The location is good and everything was clean, but the hotel is quite simple and not very memorable. Rooms are small, and the stay feels more practical than enjoyable. Breakfast was the best part.
