About Ping Ping Café
Coffee, Matcha und Backwaren
Located at Grillparzerstraße 27, 81675 München, Ping Ping Café operates as a café serving München in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. Typical hours are 8 am–3 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. No phone number is listed for this business, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best route for directions and any contact details Google has on file.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.9 out of 5 from 80 reviews, which is a strong result for a café in München and suggests consistent service.
München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

A lovely little cafe with a cosy, relaxed atmosphere. The wonton soup was delicious, full of flavour and very comforting. I also tried the matcha with strawberry jam, and the jam tasted incredibly fresh, like homemade. Everything felt unhurried and peaceful, making it a great spot to slow down and enjoy a quiet break.

Super cozy, humble Cafe! Great for lunch with its tasty Dumplings, or for a snack of great handmade cake&pastries. We especially loved the delicious Coffee and Matcha Latte drinks that were clearly made with love and care and are not like most of those overpriced hipster drinks you find elsewhere💚

Ping Ping cafe is my favourite cafe in Munich. They have the most beautiful pistachio croissants, sandwiches, matcha cheesecake, and flavoured matcha lattes (I love the mango one!) Ping is a really lovely person, and we always have great chats. It’s the perfect cozy place to do some laptop work and watch the city go by🍵👩💻

Lovely little Café with a fantastic strawberry matcha. Very generous strawberry portion, while still actually tasting like matcha.
