For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 9 am–5 pm. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is 089 78017017. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. Its website is cafebuur.de, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 2,107 reviews, which is a strong result for a café in München and suggests consistent service.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

Wow what a brunch experience it was! Out of all delicious looking choices on the menu, we both ended up with croissant based breakfast plates. Both were perfect: the harmony of the crisp croissant and spices of the meat met beautifully with the hollaindaise souce and the yolk of the perfectly poached egg. Personell were very kind and cheerful. I can also recommend matcha and iced chai latte. Matcha was not grass-y and spices of the chai latte was on point Definetely a place that I would go again and again (even on the same day) when I visit Munich again. My mind is still on the other menu items that I couldnt try 😋😋😋

I traveled from my hotel to come to what google said was the best cafe. This place is definitely amazing, i had some espresso, in eggs benedict to die for, and the chocolate milk with cocoa pops in it, truly one of a kind. Nice friendly people, great atmosphere, nice quiet residential neighborhood. If you're looking for a simple outing, hop on the train.

The atmosphere and hospitality were really great! We had Acai bowl and egg benedict. Matcha latte and BIG cappuccino! Delicious! They also made us happy with a small Lindt chocolate at the end. On non-holidays its a little hard to find a parking but its near the U-Bahn

A great breakfast spot with a wide variety of options available. The shakshouka was absolutely delicious, especially with the feta cheese — I’d rate it 10/10. However, the bread portion was a bit small, so we had to order extra. We also tried the sourdough with avocado and scrambled eggs, which was excellent. The touch of lemon made it even better — another 10/10. I also ordered a café latte. It was tasty, although slightly burnt, but still enjoyable overall. The prices were very reasonable considering the quality. Special thanks to (Anthony) for the great service and warm welcome — much appreciated, and I wish him all the best. Just to note, the place was quite busy.

Absolutely fantastic breakfast spot. From start to finish everything was simply perfect. The warmth and friendliness of the service is truly indescribable and something you rarely experience these days. The hospitality is outstanding in every way. The food was incredibly delicious and the menu selection is amazing. It was honestly so hard to decide because everything sounded incredible and I would have loved to try the entire menu. The music was great the atmosphere was beautiful and the overall vibe of the place is just wonderful. The team is doing an incredible job here simply wow. Just for your information reservations are not possible in advance but we arrived early and had no waiting time at all. Everything was smooth and perfect. We will definitely be back and this place is an absolute must visit for everyone. Highly recommended
