Pension Otto

Very connective location! Incredibly clean - you can smell how they try to keep it clean throughout the day and night! The mats etc in the bathroom are changed at least daily. I've never encountered such a clean stay anywhere else, even at those big name hotels. At some point I was walking bare feet and it felt cozy. The hosts are very nice, friendly and helpful. The other visitors were also respectful. I recommend fully!

Pension Otto was a true gem, beautiful spacious room with super high ceilings and gorgeous unique decor and comfortable beds. Bathrooms and extra toilets in the hallway, but not a big deal. Everything was super clean and the cosy little kitchen was nice and had everything you need. Manager made coffee in the morning and we had a lovely long chat. Would definitely come back here again.

I had a great stay at Pension Otto. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, and felt like a real room. It also had a kitchen sink and coffee machine, but I didn't use it. It isn't exactly at the center of Cologne, but I could go everywhere I wanted to see by walking thirty minutes or less, and it was close to many stops for public transportation (train, bus).

Loved it there - it's very convenient for travelers (especially if you're on a budget). Location is great - just around the corner of public transportation (everything is easy to reach). Had some troubles finding the right spot (name is on the left - 1st floor), but staff was very very helpful and patient. My room was very spacious with bed, couch, table and my own sink. toilets/baths are outside. It was clean and hygienic and I felt homely. Bed and bedding was honestly very comfy. Great food is just some meters away (I recommend the "vegan junk food" restaurant). Anytime again!
