We visited NIKU in Nuremberg for a business dinner and had a fantastic experience. The service was incredibly friendly, attentive, and patient throughout the evening. We tried the Japanese BBQ, a wide selection of appetizers and sushi, and everything was absolutely delicious. The mocktails were also excellent. A wonderful place for a special dinner and highly recommended!

I go to this restaurant regularly, both to the grill bar and the first floor restaurant, and I honestly love everything about it. The atmosphere is beautiful, stylish, and very welcoming. But the absolute highlight for me is the Wagyu beef on both floors. The meat is incredibly tender, fine, juicy, and full of flavor. You can really taste the quality. Every dish I’ve tried so far has been delicious and perfectly prepared. Of course, it is not a cheap restaurant, but considering the quality of the food, the service, the atmosphere, and the overall experience, the prices are still reasonable.

This place is super overpriced for what you get. For just two people, we spent over €120 on two BBQ sets, which is honestly shocking considering the quality and portion size. The meat had almost no flavor at all, and it didn’t taste fresh. For a restaurant that focuses on BBQ, the meat quality should be the highlight, but it was really disappointing. On top of that, the portions were very small, so the price feels completely unjustified. Overall, the experience did not match the price at all. With this kind of cost, you would expect premium meat and great flavor, but unfortunately this place delivers neither. Definitely not worth the money.

Went there a couple days ago and I’ve been arguing if i should post or not. Well the restaurant itself is very nicely decorated and has a great atmosphere. We sat upstairs for the bbq. The selection was to be frank quite overpriced. I have no idea where this “wagyu” beef is from. Dont even know if its authentic. But yeah food was okay. You cook it yourself. The finishing desert matcha box was interesting and i guess a new experience for people here but like the cakes where incredibly dry that it was like chalk but hey matcha flavour so we trendy. What really made me question the integrity of this establishment is something that happened with the ordering. Im not sure if it was a language barrier id like to think i speak very well in German. I asked if i can get a glass of tap water cus we just finished eating around 100 euros worth of meat. I thoight yeah this should be fine. I wasnt allowed and thats totally fine. I said its okay its store policy, like ill just get a small BOTTLE. My water arrived but it wasnt a sealed bottle that i was expecting. It was a glass pitcher with water inside it. No idea where the bottle is. Like its sooo obviously tap water you guys put into the pitch

Literally one of the best restaurants I’ve eaten at in Nurnberg. The Wagu was to die for. Appetizers deserts and drinks were all wonderful and I think fairly priced. Will definitely come back
