For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. The most common schedule is 12–2:30 pm. It is closed on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is 0911 23814997. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. More information is available on its website, takumi-nuernberg.de.
On Google it holds a rating of 4.8 out of 5 from 1,216 reviews, which is a strong result for a sushi in Nürnberg and suggests consistent service.
Nürnberg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around Nürnberg is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Delicious ramen, one of the best I've ever had. We had 3 of them and all were amazing. Service was fast too but it was busy so we had to wait a little bit for a table. Would 100% visit again if back in town.

We had this ramen in Vienna and were so excited to find it here as well. First of all, we were surprised to find that the menu was different even though their websites are the same. We ordered gyoza to start. The flavor was fabulous, but the size was small. For our meals we had tonkatsu and miso ramen. Both were very flavorful. To our surprise, the tonkatsu was the favored one! However, we did order double meat on that one and even after asking, the meat portions looked the same. I think it was either lost in translation, or we just didn’t receive the extra meat. Overall, a good experience.

The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we walked in, and the food was served surprisingly fast. We started with the takoyaki and chicken karaage, both of which were absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. But the real star was the ramen—it absolutely hit the spot. Rich, flavorful, and comforting. Honestly, I have zero complaints or negatives about this place. If you're in Nürnberg and craving authentic ramen, I can highly recommend this place.

Excellent truly sums up the experience. The ramen we had was perfect for the weather and absolutely hit the spot. Service was quick and attentive. The traditional Japanese ramen broth was rich and flavorful, with chewy noodles that had just the right texture. The karaage was perfectly crunchy, and the miso broth was spicy and full of flavor. The takoyaki and gyoza were decent but not standout. Overall, a highly recommended place, especially for ramen lovers.

Best Ramen in Nürnberg hands down. When we arrived there were no free tables so we had to wait about 5 minutes, in the meantime the staff made sure we're comfortable and even served us tea for free. The service at this place is amazing, very attentive staff and the food also came out very quickly. We had a tonkotsu, shoyu and miso ramen and all of them were extremely good, you can't go wrong here with any menu item.
