With 4.1 out of 5 on Google from 127 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for hostels in München. German customers tend to review sparingly and critically, so a mid-range score with detailed comments is often a fair picture.

München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around München is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Extremely clean, organized, accessible, and has everything that you need. The showers are great, and there is a single bathroom for each floor (about 5 rooms each) but there’s never a line/wait. Checking in and out was straightforward and easy. WiFi was a bit spotty, and the location is a bit odd, however connection to the inner city was quick and easy. Definitely worth the price, would recommend to anybody!

I have booked a room of 3 beds to stay with my friends. We were visiting Munich to attend a Euro 2024 Game. We arrived around 11 PM and we had checked in using a pin code provided on the machine in the images to provide the keys and fob. Every floor has a kind of one Appartement which contains 4 rooms, 2 toilets, 2 showers and full Kitchen.

Excellent stay for budget travellers. Clean room, fine kitchen (fridge, stove, dishwasher (!)) and proper bathrooms and toilets. It was a bit hot in our room, but fans were provided, which was very convenient. The location seems a bit shabby (strip club along the way) but it's only a five minute walk to the metro, which takes you directly into the city centre. No or little noise disturbance. The only improvement I could suggest is replacing the electrical kettle in the kitchen, as it isn't very clean. On a sidenote, the key system was new for me, but it works all fine. Would stay again & definitely recommend.
