München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Great location, close to a major train station and not to far to main tourist area via public transport. Room was nice, with balcony and fan. Great to cool down during the heatwave. Staff were very friendly as well. Only downside was no guest kitchen. Really good value for money.

I stayed here for one night in Munich. The room was beautiful, very clean, and the bathroom was spotless. It was quiet and very reasonably priced. The staff were welcoming, kind, and helpful with luggage storage. However, please note that the property has both a hostel and a hotel section; the way to the hotel rooms was a bit confusing. I’d suggest adding clearer signage. That being said, if I visit Munich again, I’ll definitely stay here!
