Really great spot for authentic Bavarian food. The atmosphere is traditional and very welcoming, especially the outdoor seating area. The food is hearty, delicious, and the portions are huge. Service is friendly and pretty fast even when they are busy. It is also in a great location for a walk nearby after eating. Definitely recommend stopping by if you want a great local meal!

We were served very well. With splendid food and witty humor. A very traditional Bavarian restaurant. Truly recommend to visit. They also have a Salettl which is not super common. Go and explore this little jewel!

GREAT PLACE! So happy we found this restaurant, offers both traditional Bayern dishes but also takes into account those who don't eat meat. And I'm not talking only the traditional vegetarian dishes (because lets be honest käse spätzle seven times in a row can become kind of dull), but also other veggie options. Also an actual English menu and super friendly and efficient staff. Restaurant looks super cute and the food tasted great. Will definitely take my mom here too next time!

A fantastic place to hit with your friends, family or just by yourself! There are lots of locals, indicating that it's safe to try. It's a family business, dating to the 1700s, located closely to the Nymphenburg Castle, while it remains having decent prices (for such localisation), making it more worthy than the Castle's restaurants. The food and drinks are amazing (especially the meaty meals and glühwein), it's a nice way to warm yourself up from the cold, wintery scenery outside. I've been there to try it and I haven't been disappointed by any means. Solid 10/10.
