Das Essen war geschmacklich völlig in Ordnung, die Portionen jedoch so klein, dass selbst unser 7-jähriger Sohn nicht satt geworden ist. Als wir dies angesprochen haben, bekamen wir lediglich die Antwort, man müsse künftig einfach zwei Portionen bestellen. Ehrlich gesagt habe ich noch nie erlebt, dass es in einem Restaurant als normal angesehen wird, für eine Mahlzeit zwei Portionen bestellen zu müssen. Als wir daraufhin tatsächlich eine weitere Portion Spätzle bestellen wollten, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass dies etwa eine Stunde dauern würde. Gerade mit Kindern ist das wenig praktikabel und aus unserer Sicht nicht besonders kinderfreundlich – insbesondere wenn man für eine einfache Portion Spätzle so lange warten soll. Besonders enttäuschend war zudem die eher unfreundliche und wenig entgegenkommende Art des Services. Angesichts der sonst sehr guten Bewertungen hat uns das überrascht.

Sehr leckeres Essen in einem wunderbar traditionellen Ambiente. Der Biergarten ist richtig schön und lädt zum Verweilen ein. Besonders in Pasing eine tolle Adresse, wenn man gemütlich essen und die Atmosphäre genießen möchte. Klare Empfehlung!

Family owned restaurant, with great food and that old house feel that might not be for everyone, but it really causes nostalgia from the childhood visits to grandparents' house.
