Simply outstanding. Maelu is an excellent café with an impressive selection of coffee and desserts. The cappuccino was exceptionally well prepared, and the pistachio cake was outstanding—rich, delicate, and perfectly balanced. The quality of the desserts was consistently excellent, and everything we tried was fresh and beautifully presented. The service was equally impressive. The servers were exceptionally kind, attentive, and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was elegant and inviting, making Maelu an ideal place to relax and enjoy a coffee and dessert. Overall, a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend Maelu to anyone looking for excellent coffee, exceptional desserts, and outstanding service.

The coffee was delicious, the food was excellent, and the staff were very polite and friendly. The only thing I would suggest is reducing the sugar in the cakes, as they were a bit too sweet. With less sugar, the cakes would taste even better.

We ordered a pistachio croissant and a Lamponcino. The laminated dough was really tasty and you can clearly taste the butter. The pistachio cream is average, but it pairs well with the croissant overall. The filling amount is just right. It was quite busy for only two staff members, but even so, service was fast and efficient. The Italian waitress was super friendly and kind.

All the desserts look beautiful, and it’s honestly hard to choose just one. I’d especially like to highlight the chocolate dessert and the Pavlova - both were delicious, fresh, and perfectly balanced in sweetness and flavor. The Pavlova features a delicate mascarpone cream, perfectly complemented by fresh berries and a berry mousse. While the desserts are not cheap, the price fully reflects the quality. Highly recommended.
