Berlin is in the state of Berlin, the capital and largest city of Germany; summers are warm, winters grey and cold with occasional snow, and the dense U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus network puts most businesses within a few minutes' walk of a stop. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We were disappointed with the course. It is not at all what is being advertised. Our son was registered for the age group 12-16 and we were assuming it is learning in a fun way in a group of teenagers. When we arrived we realised that the only other child other than our 14 year old son is a 9 year old boy. The classroom was tiny and stuffy; the diference in age made it difficult for the children to experience it as a "fun" class. At no point were we offerred the money to be returned because the school did not find enough pupils to fill the class. The teacher spoke English to the children much of the time, which is not at all the way German is taught to beginners in Germany, as I can testify as I have also attended German classes for beginners--the teacher in other schools I attended, always spoke German even to pupils who do not know a single word in German, this is the standard way. I very much agree with the other reviewers who flag that this course is not at all what is being advertised.

Was a great experience for both my kids aged 11 and 13. The teacher is very competent in german teaching. The receptionist is also warm and helpful so I definitely recommend

We had one good teacher—Marco. He was great, and was really committed to helping our child. But otherwise this organisation is just a money-grabbing business, with a terrible contract that makes you pay for 3 months even if they can't offer a suitable class. In our case, they changed the timing of the class to another time that our kid, who goes to a whole day school, can't make and now they won't let us cancel the contract & wants us to pay for 3 more months and then a 75 euro cancellation fee. I wouldn't recommend their vacation classes to anyone because they just hire a young kid as a teacher and waste the kids' time mostly. We made the mistake of sending our kid and realised it was absolutely useless.

My kids attended a full-day German course for two weeks. Overall, they really enjoyed it, even though two of them were complete beginners. The only area for improvement would be the food – on some days they didn’t like it and sometimes felt unwell after lunch.

Our granddaughter attended two courses this summer and made great progress in German! We are highly impressed by the team. The manager is very kind and also efficient, handling all the children and parents with warmth and respect. The teachers are attentive to the different skill levels of the children so that they can advance and become more confident every day. We highly recommend this language club!
