For a place to eat or drink in Germany, the questions that matter most are simple: is it open today (many restaurants keep a weekly Ruhetag), does it take reservations for dinner, and does the menu suit your group. Tipping is modest, rounding up or adding 5-10% when you pay, and while cards are accepted in most places, cash is still the safe choice at bakeries, Imbiss stands and beer gardens. Tap water is not served automatically, and bottles you take away carry a Pfand deposit.
The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 12 pm–12 am. As with most places, expect changes around public holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is 089 34020203. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. More information is available on its website, kaisergarten.com.
With 4.2 out of 5 on Google from 1,935 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for deutsche & regionale küche in München. German customers tend to review sparingly and critically, so a mid-range score with detailed comments is often a fair picture.
München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Amazing meal here at Kaisergarten. Fantastic staff and great portion sizes. Very authentic Bavarian cuisines and nice atmosphere. Recommend you get the smaller portion Wiener Schnitzel (unless you are up for the challenge) and for dessert, the Kaiserschmarrn.

Wonderful place to grab dinner. The fare is Contemporary German with a kicked up flare on traditional dishes. I had a dinner of local veal meatballs stuffed with mountain cheese over a bed of sweet potatoe almond mash, with fried onions and local mustard. Its amazing

Food was really delicious and served delicately. We liked that place a lot. We sat outside at the corner but still the staff had full attention on us, it was highly appreciable. Additionally staff members were really nice and friendly, also suggested us choose a better food options. Coming again soon :)
