About ibis Hotel Regensburg City
Located at Parking Via Gemeinerstrasse, Furtmayrstraße 1, 93053 Regensburg, ibis Hotel Regensburg City operates as a hotel serving Regensburg in Bayern. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
When booking accommodation or travel services in Germany, confirm the check-in window, whether the rate includes breakfast and the local city tax (Kurtaxe or Bettensteuer), and what the cancellation terms are; pensions and Gasthöfe are often family-run and appreciate notice. Reviews that mention noise, bed size, Wi-Fi and cleanliness are usually the most useful. Prices jump around trade fairs, the Christmas markets, Oktoberfest and the summer school holidays, so book early for those dates.
No opening hours are on file. If you plan a visit, phone first or check the Google Maps link on this page for the latest times, and remember that most shops in Germany close on Sundays and public holidays. You can reach ibis Hotel Regensburg City on 0941 78040; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions, and many businesses also take enquiries and bookings by e-mail or WhatsApp. More information is available on its website, all.accor.com.
With 4.2 out of 5 on Google from 1,359 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for hotels in Regensburg. German customers tend to review sparingly and critically, so a mid-range score with detailed comments is often a fair picture.
Regensburg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in Regensburg, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

I would strongly advise against booking this hotel. We booked two rooms through Lastminute.be and received a confirmed reservation for a total of €28. We drove for almost 10 hours, relying on that confirmed booking. Only at 9:43 PM on the day of our arrival, while we were already on the road, the hotel sent an email claiming there had been a "technical error" and that the actual price was €132.80 per room—more than nine times the confirmed price. Since I was driving, I couldn't read my emails. When we arrived at 1:30 AM, exhausted after a full day of travelling, we were told we had only two options: pay €264 instead of the confirmed €28, or leave. No apology, no alternative solution, no effort to accommodate us despite having a confirmed reservation. As a result, we were forced to spend the night sleeping in our car. Mistakes can happen, but the way this hotel handled the situation was completely unacceptable. Sending an email a few hours before arrival is not sufficient when guests are already travelling. A simple phone call could have prevented this situation. This was by far one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. I would never book this hotel again and ca

The rooms, as well as the entire hotel, need refreshing. The walls between the rooms are extremely thin, and you can literally hear even quiet conversations from guests in the next room. The food selection is very limited, usually reduced to three or four options, apart from breakfast, which is good. The hotel is in a very good location, and that is what really saves it.
