Hotel Motel One Köln-Neumarkt

We stayed here from 4–8 August 2026. We always stay at Motel One hotels, and this one definitely didn’t let us down. It had the classic modern yet cozy Motel One interior, and its central location made it perfect for exploring the city. This Motel One also has a really lovely courtyard where, as Motel One says, you can enjoy “late drinks or early coffees.” The lounge inside is spacious, vibrant, and has a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, stylish, and centrally located place to stay!

Motel One did not disappoint. The room was clean, WiFi was fast, with 16m2 big enough to host also a little table and chair and the room was also quite sound proof. It was 30 degrees but the AC worker pretty well. The breakfast was also great and the hotel did its best to steer customers to non rush hour.

Whenever I travel for business, if there’s a branch of this hotel in the city I’m visiting, it’s always my first choice. I know I can count on a comfortable and pleasant stay every time. What I appreciate and like is the sense of safety, the hospitality, and the friendly and welcoming staff. The hotel is always spotless, the rooms are well maintained, and the breakfast is consistently delicious with a good selection. Overall, I’ve had nothing but positive experiences here. The consistent quality across different locations is impressive, and I highly recommend this hotel to both business and leisure travelers.

Our stay at Motel One Köln-Neumarkt was very pleasant. It is well situated for places to walk to and for public transport. The room was a little tight but with so much to do during the day, I am only interested in a good bed and a clean room at night time at a very affordable price which is why I have still given 5 stars. The modern walk in shower was very nice and clean.I particularly appreciated the lovely toiletries provided that weren't fixed to the wall! The bar and breakfast area are interesting with eclectic furniture and stained glass panels. Very comfortable too. The staff were all very pleasant and helpful but especially Marina. I managed to leave my mobile phone in the room which I didnt realise until I was on the train to Berlin. Marina immediately located it and went above and beyond to ensure its safe arrival back to the UK and keep my daughter updated on its whereabouts. I was so grateful for her kind professionalism. A very positive experience for us all in all and we will definitely be returning again soon.
