München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. German addresses put the street name before the house number, followed by the five-digit postcode and the town, as in "Marienplatz 8, 80331 München". The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We had a delay in our arrival and the angel of a man named Oleg, that worked the front went way way way above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. He stayed late, was very professional, knew exactly what to do and made sure we got our car. I can’t express enough gratitude towards Oleg. He was great. Me and my wife have always used Hertz because of experiences like this. Hertz’s staff seem to always come through and they hired a great guy in Oleg. 10 out of 10!!!

Beware when returning to this location as there are no signs telling you where to drop off and if you do drop off in the place with big Hertz signs during open hours, there’s no sign there to tell you to drop off in other place during open hours. Then they will charge you €25 for them to move the car to the right place. Seems like they deliberately make it confusing so they can find something to charge you for.

I can also attest to the scams from this Hertz branch. They charged over 700€ for a scratch on the wheel they claim I made. They told me to go when dropping the car back, and they hit you with the photos and charged later. This place needs to be formally investigated. Do not, under any circumstance, hire a car from them.

Will always try and get you for something even when a car was returned better then you receive it. Returned rental car well before return time and was emailed documentation stating we returned it late and charged accordingly. Vehcile was returned on a public holiday with minimal staff and no way for them to document time properly. Was told to leave vehicle keys in car and they will email us back. Weeks later, no response and still going back and forth with a dispute case.

Stay far away. Did not expect to be scammed like this by Hertz, especially in Germany. With no further info, my credit card was charged 2 700 € a few weeks after the rental. No explanation. Took me days to find out why. Seems like the traditional odometer scam, starting milesge was grossly wrong. Luckily I have picture evidence proving this. A month later I am still waiting for my money. No response to several inquiries. I have filed a criminal case against the location and employee responsible. Whatever you do, do not rent from these thieves. Unbelievable.

I’ve used Hertz a number of times within the United States but had a terrible experience with this particular location and would absolutely avoid renting from here. The rental itself was great - upon returning the vehicle in mid-June, I walked around the vehicle with an agent who indicated no damage. A day later, I received €1200 of damages due to a “cracked windshield”. After months of back and forth with the agency (wait times of 5-7 or more business days between responses) and going through numerous holds with Hertz customer service with every possible escalation I could find, they cannot provide any evidence of a cracked windshield nor any receipt of any repair rendered to the vehicle (because, clearly, no repair was actually needed). The only “evidence” they provided are the attached photos, neither of which show a visible crack - all those photos show is some marker added by someone at their facility. Thankfully, I had this covered by insurance with my credit card, but be extremely wary of renting from this location. I’ll continue to use Hertz within the US but their support is not able to handle international requests sufficiently.

They gave me a car with a scratch on the tyre and they didn't have on the system. But I videoed the car before pick up. At return, the scratch popped up and they tried to charge me €1,000 for this. I immediately sent the video to the main office and they adcknowledged their mistake. But the rental office clearly are not doing things right. Also the parking garage has very narrow driveways for how wide some of their cars are. Return lady speaks limited English and clearly doesn't enjoy her work (and her life)

I give one star because I cannot give 0. I booked an Opel Insignia/VW Passat for a week via Check24. When I arrive to take my car, surprise, I get an upgrade, an electric car! I told them that I didn’t want an electric car because I had to do more than 500km several times with a baby and it was not going to be convenient. They told me that they didn’t have more cars, electric car or Fiat500. I took the electric car (Polestar 2) because the Fiat500 was too small for us. What a nightmare. Trips that we normally do in 4-4:30 hours taking almost 7:30h. First we got the car with 66% load and had to stop after less than 100km because the battery was discharging like crazy. Then stops every 200km maximum and driving 100-100kmh only because otherwise the car is discharging to fast. Also with the baby adding three additional hours every trip… not nice. And charging the car was slow in the majority of the places, always around 1 hour stop to charge around 45%. I must say that the problem is partially with Hertz and partially with Check24. Be sure when you book with Check24 that you select petrol or diesel, otherwise they book you a car with whatever propulsion method which can include also e
