Edit- had a call and refund of the cleaning cost, as clearly was not warranted. Still 200Euros down and no further calls, no updates. 2 weeks on and it's all quiet. re-posting reviews, as clearly still not happy Won't respond to our complaint. Purchased the all in insurance cover, to safeguard our trip. It had a 1,500Euro excess, that the extra insurance waived. Got to collect car and the tin pot outfit they use (Autowill) said it was 3,000Euros, which we could not do on our credit card, as we don't have the limit. They then basically said no rental, unless we paid 250E for their cover, then no 3,000 to pay etc etc. They reduced it to 200E- scam or what. Then we get home to find a cleaning charge for the car which was perfect and we have photos to prove. So we're over £200 more so far for the rental which has jumped from £341 to £550. Shambles, con, fraudsters avoid like the plague. If they want to reply to us Autowill Booking reference: 40166610 so we're not making this up- there's the ref. Look forward to a reply

Paid less than 60 Euros for 5 days. Vehicle was in good shape and reliable. The gentlemen at the counter were very nice and quick. Would definitely recommend.

I can recommend this rental company. The customer service was good and the employee was very friendly. For the price, it’s unbeatable. If someone complains about the somewhat hard-to-find location or the slightly longer waiting time, they should just book a car with Sixt and pay five times as much. We’re very satisfied driving our Panda.

CHECK24 & AURUM Cars are part of the same Company. They offer Rental Contracts all over the World...and I had only positive experiences with them at LUCANO in Chile. I rented two times from them and received always a nearly brand new VW Virtus with Adaptive Cruise Control and wireless Android Auto. The TSI-Engines deliver a very good fuel economy and the ride in these VWs is exceptionally good. Friendly staff and Support via WhatsApp is always on point. 100% Recommend!

The car itself was great: clean, in good condition, and offered at a fair price. However, the service left quite a bit to be desired. When we arrived at the airport with a child, the shuttle drove past us so quickly that the driver didn’t even see us. It took over 30 minutes and three phone calls before anyone finally came to pick us up, even though the ride to the rental location was just four minutes long. That kind of wait, especially with a child, was frustrating and unnecessary. At the rental desk, we were met with unexpected discussions about things that were clearly included in the booking. The child seat and the second driver, both listed as paid for online, were suddenly treated as optional extras. We ended up having to pay again for the child seat, and the second driver was questioned both when picking up and dropping off the car, even though it was supposed to be included. Overall, not the worst experience, but the service could definitely be more organized and transparent.
