I took the haxe cheeseburger , was very big and very good quality for 7 euros. Definitely worth it compared to Munich places. I advise the side part where the fast food is and you can also seat and order drinks. Service is slow because they are not many.

The pork knuckle was perfectly cooked! The gravy was a little runny for my liking and lacked a little depth. The mustard on the Austrian style pork knuckle was delicious. Our server was polite and speedy. We had a toddler in tow who was very hungry after our flight. He made sure our food came promptly. Atmosphere was ok but we arrived at 5:30pm in the evening. It was filled with tourists. Would recommend. Toilets are downstairs but very clean with soap and hand towels.

​Unbeatable Pork Knuckle! We came here and ordered the whole pork knuckle for two people—and the portions are absolutely massive! The meat was juicy, and the crispy skin was perfection. We had it with a side of potato salad, which balanced out the richness nicely. Washed it all down with a refreshing Radler and a traditional German beer. You definitely won't leave here hungry. Highly recommended if you're looking for a hearty, authentic meal!

We had a very nice and delicious lunch today, especially the pork knuckle, very crispy outside. Also the set lunch was very value for money. All dishes were recommended by the Hungarian waiter. He was very polite and treated us with warm hospitality. Highly recommend this restaurant for the food, location and the warm hospitality.

I also had the chance to dine at Haxnbauer in Munich, and it was an outstanding experience. I tried their pork knuckle (Haxen), and it was simply perfect – crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and full of flavor. The traditional Bavarian atmosphere adds to the whole experience, making it a great place to enjoy authentic local cuisine. If you’re in Munich and want to try a proper Haxen, this place is definitely worth it. Highly recommended!
