I really liked the atmosphere, the restaurant is located in a beautiful corner and has a lot of potential. When it comes to the food, the starters were really tasty. However, as a vegetarian, I couldn’t find more than two main dish options, and both were pasta dishes that unfortunately lacked any real spark in flavour. The biggest issue for me was the service. Even though the restaurant wasn’t crowded for a Saturday, everything took quite a long time. There was especially one waitress who seemed like she didn’t enjoy her job :D We waited around 10-12 minutes for two pieces of bread, which meant we couldn’t continue with our starter. I had to remind her twice, which was quite annoying. I think bad service can easily ruin an otherwise lovely evening. I’m looking forward to giving this place a better rating in the future if these issues can be resolved, because the restaurant really has a lot of potential.

I have to agree with a lot of people here, the atmosphere is great. The food is also very good even though pricey. But the service is pretty bad. Clearly because they're understaffed and the only waiter that was present for most of our stay, I was told, was just an apprentice and looked very young. Which might explain the lack of experience. I will still come back but only if I am not planning on impressing somebody:⁠-⁠)

We had a great evening at Gufo! The food was delicious and refreshingly unpretentious — just really well-executed dishes without any unnecessary fuss. Italian with a twist! The drinks were a highlight: creative, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with care. Simon (who we’ve seen before at Flushing Meadows) is now behind the bar and elevates the experience. Even when everyone at the table orders different drinks at peak time, they are well worth the wait. Only (small) downside: it can get a bit loud when it’s busy - as people are laughing and having a good time. Overall, definitely worth a visit and we will be back soon!

Pretty space with cozy lighting and lively atmosphere. service was terrible, had to beg for drinks/ water and the staff seemed very confused as to what was happening. Food was ok at best. Very small portions with basic flavors. My dish of the peposo felt like the mashed potatoes were microwaved. Cocktails tasted good and were fairly priced

We had a fantastic evening with friends ! A great wine list, excellent food, friendly service, I highly recommend this restaurant ! The atmosphere is nice, the music is just right (not too loud, not too quiet), the servers are attentive, and the dishes are high-quality and full of flavor. Thank you to the Gufo team !
