About Gans Woanders
Gans Woanders is a restaurant in München, Bayern. It is listed at Pilgersheimer Str. 13, 81543 München-Untergiesing-Harlaching, which places it among the local businesses of München that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Eating out in Germany runs from a quick Döner at an Imbiss to a long evening in a Gasthaus, and a listing like this one is best judged on freshness, turnover and how consistent the reviews are rather than on decor. Lunch menus (Mittagstisch) are usually the best value, menu prices already include 19% VAT and service, and many kitchens close between lunch and dinner. Bakeries open early and are the one shop you can count on for a Sunday morning.
Opening hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 10 am–11 pm. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is 089 24597785. Calling ahead is the norm in Germany for reservations and for confirming that a small business is open that day; e-mail or WhatsApp is the common alternative if you would rather write than speak. More information is available on its website, ganswoanders.de.
Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 3,200 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded restaurants in München.
München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

Really unique place, not like anything else you’ll see. Their Iced Chai Latte was sooo good! Only downside is they refuse to give you the WiFi password, so if you go there to study make sure you have plenty of data 😆

Such a unique place in the middle of Munich! The atmosphere is amazing and it feels completely different from anywhere else in the city. İThe pizza wasn’t the best I’ve had in Munich, but it was still good, and together with the atmosphere and the uniqueness of the place, I really enjoyed the experience.

Everything about this place is great. Service was very friendly, smiling. The pizza was done very quickly, even though there was pretty lots of people, and it was amazingly dlicious. The crust is neither too thick nor too thin, soft and tastes amazingly, and pizza in general was rich in taste. Atmosphere was probably what made me love this place the most: there are several floors and in each of them you could find a slightly different mood, so this place is perfect for a cozy coffee with a dessert, simple gathering with friends or familly, and also a good fun night out. If I'm ever back to Munich, I will deffinately be visiting this place again!

I have been wanting to come here for the longest time, finally got time to try it this week. The vegan pizza is light and flavourful - the cashew cheese is 🫶🏼. The lemon poppy seed cake is moist and delicately sweetened. The ambiance is chill and relaxed - though it can get noisy and loud when crowded. Glad to know they have vegan options, especially desserts. Definitely coming here again for the vibes :) Note: I went on a weekday and was able to find space for 2 people even though it was pretty packed. I imagine it to be full on the weekends and there to be a wait time.

Great pizza; fresh ingredients and perfectly baked crust. The place has a cozy, creative vibe with friendly staff and quick service. Ideal for a relaxed evening with family or friends. Definitely one of the best pizza spots we tried in Munich!
