München is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. For directions in München, Google Maps and the DB Navigator app cover public transport times and walking routes, and most towns have well-marked cycle lanes. Local transport tickets must be bought or validated before boarding, and parking near busy streets is limited and metered.

They do not accept debit or credit cards. They do not accept large denominations (100 Euro notes). Come with exact change if you do not want to miss the film.

Cozy and well-equipped, vintage-style cinema. One of the few places in Munich to see older films or even classics, with a carefully curated program. Prices are very low. Unfortunately, there's no way to reserve tickets beforehand, although there are usually plenty of vacant seats anyway.

Excellent Cinema, great programming, cool cafe.

Great place, they have show many different films in Thursday to Sunday nights, it is actually cheaper than cinema (4-6€) and they are in original version and format with subtitles in German. And most times they have a film discussion afterwards, sometimes even inviting the directors or so on. The seats are very comfortable and it is a great plan for a weekend night when you are a film fan.

Very comfy cinema, with a nice cafe to boot. What we saw was projected on film (always a plus) and was fantastic.
