It was my first time in the New Maxim cinema and we were in the small theatre downstairs. The seating was lovely and spacious. The screen and sound quality were excellent and the staff were super friendly. I loved it!

I had a lovely evening in Neu Maxime, watching Rental family in Kleiner Saal. It was a nice small venue, with popcorn, a few snacks, ice cream and beverages. The seating is good, and very cozy given the smaller theater. There were also couples in the front bean chairs, which looked comfy.

It was a jewel and so grateful I found it the only have good movies no the American trash we send but if you enjoy, good movies with content this is your place. After or before dinner . So many places to eat or drink in the same area easy access and prices are good for Germany.

Very cozy, creative, good prices for snacks, but following issues: 1. They have 2 cinema halls, large one and small one. The small one is VERYYYY tiny, not really cinema like but feels like a large living room.. 2. They have a film sponsored by EU to be played before everything. Which is VERY energy draining. So 15m advertisements, then 10 minutes short movie before the actual movie... So verryyyyy energy draining.

I finally made it to the „new Maxim“! I’ve been randomly passing this cinema loads of times. Always the same thought crossed my mind “there’s a cinema here?” Well I finally went in on purpose and I loved it! As you can tell on the photos it has a very cool and comfortable interior look. From the outside it even looks a bit abandoned. Then once you are in you are greeted by a comfortable sofa and greatly placed wall art. We also had popcorn (which you should always get at a cinema, because they mostly make more money with the snacks, than with the actual tickets) and it was very delicious. The staff was also very warm and welcoming. It is a small cinema, that you notice with the toilet facilities. I still think that is managed in a god and solid way, you just have to wait a bit after a movie. We have only seen the small cinema room so far, but that was also very satisfactory. We sat in the back and I had some major home cinema vibes. The sound was great and all surround. At some point I want to take place on the pillow sofas in the front! Will come here again!
