Hiring a tradesperson in Germany works best with a clear brief: describe the job, ask for a written Kostenvoranschlag, agree on timing and payment stages, and confirm who supplies the materials. The quote should state whether 19% VAT is included, and a Meisterbetrieb or Innung membership is a sign of formal qualification. Many firms visit before quoting and then send the estimate by e-mail or WhatsApp, which leaves you a record of what was agreed. Keep the Handwerkerrechnung: part of the labour cost is tax-deductible.

Nürnberg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around Nürnberg is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

Horrible experience with Hausgeräte - Service H&M !!!! My dishwasher was broken for more than a month and still couldn't get it fixed. when the technician came the first time, he didn't find out the real problem and told us the machine was fine. Then, the dishwasher was broken again after 10 mins he left our apartment. I tried to call the technician to come back and check, he refused and asked me to arrange another appointment. So, I had to arrange another appointment which happened only another week after! Then, the technician finally came for the second time. He found out that the water pump motor was broken. But, he needed to order the part. Then, another week past to wait for the part. When the third time he came, he damaged our wooden floor when he was pulling our dishwasher out!! Yet, he still couldn't fix the machine even with the new motor!! So, in the end, our dishwasher is still broken and our floor has a lot of scratches. Even worse than before. I called Hausgeräte - Service H&M to ask them pay for the damage. They refused and ignored my request. I'm still trying to chase them for their responsibility. I will not recommend Hausgeräte - Service H&M to anyone who wants to

To make it brief, I don't think the technician who came to check my refrigerator was really a technician. He told me that my refrigerator's compressor is dead but it was a very simple problem with a wire which was not connected properly and I just did a simple try and it worked. Don't trust also on their ad which says it costs 49.they also charge you taxes. For me it cost 60. I don't recommend this service, because they are not really interested in fixing the problem. They want to just come and take 60 euro and go.
