Hiring a tradesperson in Germany works best with a clear brief: describe the job, ask for a written Kostenvoranschlag, agree on timing and payment stages, and confirm who supplies the materials. The quote should state whether 19% VAT is included, and a Meisterbetrieb or Innung membership is a sign of formal qualification. Many firms visit before quoting and then send the estimate by e-mail or WhatsApp, which leaves you a record of what was agreed. Keep the Handwerkerrechnung: part of the labour cost is tax-deductible.

Opening hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is Open 24 hours. Hours in Germany do change around public holidays, and many businesses close for a day or two over Christmas and Easter, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Nürnberg is in Bayern, in the south, the country's industrial powerhouse around Munich and Stuttgart with the Alps and the Black Forest on the doorstep; winters bring snow and the occasional warm Föhn wind, summers are the warmest in Germany, and living costs are the highest. Getting around Nürnberg is easiest by U-Bahn, S-Bahn, tram and bus, all covered by the Deutschlandticket that is valid on local and regional transport across Bayern and beyond; parking in city centres is scarce and either paid or limited by Parkscheibe, so public transport or a bike is usually quicker than driving.

I spilled coffee on my Legion Pro 5 and was really scared, but this technician did an amazing job. He fixed the spill, did a full internal cleaning, applied new thermal paste, and my laptop now works like new — all within one day. He’s very friendly, explains everything clearly, speaks English, and I highly recommend him! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I visited Nuremberg to attend an exhibition and unfortunately my Samsung laptop (Galaxy Book Pro) broke down. I knew that the exhibition period was too short to completely repair my laptop. However, Mr. Sami was very kind and suggested all possible solutions. He explained each of the possible causes and explained the corresponding countermeasures, and shared with me the methods he could implement immediately (Changing chargers or the battery) as well as the methods that were essential for the repair but could not be implemented (Changing main board) due to lack of time. His explanation was very detailed and professional, and thanks to his explanation, I was able to return to Korea and proceed with the repair quickly. If I were living in Nuremberg, I am sure I would trust and use this company.

I watched other people' reviews and went there for my laptop to repair. I paid a basic amount for inspection and then he was supposed to inform me how much the whole repair might cost. first he told an amount, and said what needs to be repaired, then again after certain days said he needs to do more repair which he discovered. I paid almost the same amount with which I bought the laptop for. Yes he explained in a very nice way, but that is not how it should be done. After the inspection money, the deal should have been the final deal with which I could have decided whether I need the repair or not. I found it absolutely unprofessional. But yeah he was nice behaved. and the communication was not bad as well. Last but not the least, the repair was not complete and my display is not working again.
