The hostel cancelled my booking because I wasn't able to pay in advance, even though my booking specified 'payment on arrival' and I had paid a deposit. I did try to pay in advance, but the payment links provided either expired and/or were broken. They did suggest that I send my full card details via email, but I preferred not to do that as it's insecure.

I'd recommend for young travellers, really basic but clean. A bit noisy as there were lots of school groups.

The hotel was very nice and also the food was good and also staff was so kind. West stayed here one week and all were good.

I got a bunk bed room all to myself which is nice for a hostel. Staff were great, the receptionist kindly changed my booking to the day I wanted when I booked it wrong, all went fine, security checked me out and was also kind. Having read the reviews on here I was worried but in general it was fine. the beds have pads under them, a sheet and then another bed cover for you to put on, as well as the sheet and pillowcase cover which you need to put on yourself. I only found the odd hair here or there. The colour of the sheets either it looks old or isn’t a good choice of tinted yellow should probably consider changing that. The shower room was okay and cleaner than some hostels I’ve been in doesn’t feel gross. This place needs investment into cleaning staff is my advice. It’s not a big ask for rooms used by less people than typical hostels for managements attention.
