A true Bavarian Gaststätte. Great quality food, huge portions & fair prices. If you‘re vegetarian, this place would probably not be for you. The ambiance is great, and the garden in the summer time is lovely. However, it does get quite noisy inside in the evenings.

One of our favorite „go-to“ traditional local Bavarian restaurant in a residential area that is close to public transportation, with own beer garden and offering good schnitzel (!must try), a very good menu always including changing regional and seasonal varieties such as asparagus or mushrooms or duck or game meat…and of course regional beer and spirits. It can get loud with groups but not disturbing, food is appreciated by all ages, enough space, good climate, Bavarian portions offered with guest friendliness. We experience the food since 2000 as a guest and never regretted visiting also with our international guests.

A true bavarian tavern (Wirtshaus) – a must-visit in Munich! If you're looking for an authentic taste of Bavaria, this Wirtshaus is an absolute treasure. From the moment you step inside, you're greeted with warm hospitality, rustic charm, and the unmistakable aroma of traditional Bavarian cuisine. The menu is a celebration of hearty, home-style dishes. Pair your dish with a freshly tapped Maß of local beer. During the summer time I recommend to choose a table in the Biergarten! The staff were friendly and attentive, happy to share recommendations and explain the dishes. The atmosphere was lively yet cozy, with wooden interiors and traditional decor. Whether you're a tourist or a local, this Wirtshaus offers an unforgettable experience that captures the heart and soul of Bavarian culture. Highly recommended!

Excellent beer garden, food was great and also local beer Ayinger. The Snitzel was great, sausages incredible and the chicken 🐔 I think overcooked but 😋 tasty...
